"Another year another dollar...." No idea why we just wrote that, but it came to mind and it's a new year.... Just work with us here J
Well we came across this article and thought you all might enjoy the hints/tips provided within its illustrious pages. One of our well beloved, nay, 2 of our well beloved members would quality as "Man Magnets" and the rest of us not so much, so upon stumbling across this article it was a bit of a "EUREEKA!" moment.
http://living.msn.com/love-relationships/love-sex/how-to-be-a-man-magnet - "How to Be a Man Magnet" "Call them super-attractors—women whose pull is so powerful that men clamor to get close to them. Show of hands: Who wants a little of that?"
With a sub-title like that, the rest of us raised our hands shouting, "Me, me, pick me!" *Not literally of course, but we were thinking that! Below are some of our favorite 'blurbs' from the article:
- “When you’re out seeking your ‘penguin’—you know, because penguins mate for life—men sense that, and no guy wants or needs that kind of pressure.... So buy your own martini, and enjoy yourself. That’s penguin bait.”
- “It boils down to charm and an ability to roll with the punches.”
- Guys rating womens clothing - ROMPERS: "How do you even pee?"
- “If a man has to choose between a clingy beauty and an unavailable average girl, he will choose average every time.” *Not sure how much we agree with that, but ok - we'll let that one slide...
- ".... if there’s one thing all guys hate, it’s drama..."
- "Sharing your goals up front also affects the type of guy you attract. 'High-quality men are drawn to ambitious women,' LoDolce believes. 'I hate when women worry about intimidating men. If a guy is intimidated by you, he doesn’t deserve you.' Amen to that."
- “If you haven’t figured out who you are yet, you can’t possibly know what you want in a guy.”
Well we hope that article helps some of you out in the coming year J Maybe ups the odds of finding your penguin!
Well I sure do love penguins :)
