Olympic Hotties

We really just can't get enough of all these fit men on our TV - so we went purusing the internet and stumbled upon a very useful website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/2012/athletes.  Since we've shown you our American men, we thought "Hey it's the Olympics, time for the whole world to send out their best - let's find their best!"

This report gave a wonderful explanation: "The world is a melting pot of beauty, a smorgasbord of different styles and flavors. And in the athletic domain, where perfectly-ripped human beings are sculpted and groomed to look ideal, beauty is far from lacking."  So needless to say, we tried to give you a glimpse :)  You can thank us later, but here are some of our top picks.

*Sorry some of them are blurry*
Abel Hernandez - Striker for team Uruguay
Born in August 1990
Anthony Pannier - on the French Swimming Team
Born Sept. 1988 (and he's 6'2")
Euan Burton - Judo for Great Britain
James Magnussen - Aussie swimmer
*I had to crop out the speedo, I just don't do speedo's...
Born April 1991
Kosta Barbarouses - New Zealand football
Born February 1990 *Did you know?  Men’s teams are allowed to field
just three players over the age of 23 in the final tournament.
Ky Hurst - Australian Marathon Swimmer (He's 31)
He has won 27 Australian surf titles and 7 Ironman titles
Michael Jamieson - Great Britain Swim Team
Born May 1988
Leandrinho Barbosa - Brazilian Basketball
Born November 1982
Ryk Neethling - South African Swimmer
Born November 1977 (maybe this is an old picture?)
And this one is just for fun, because I have totally felt this way before :)

delightful

The good looking men have just been piling up in our blog picture folder, so all you ladies enjoy :)
We usually don't like golf, and I guess we still really don't....but if we HAD to watch, we'd pick him :)
Adam Scott - Pro Golfer
This guy - we don't know who he is, but we figured there wasn't a good reason to leave him off our post.  So for all you cowgirls looking for that Knight in Shining Armor on a horse...this might be your guy.  Although, to be honest, who needs armour when you've got muscles like those?

This young man (he's 27 and an eight-time Olympic medalist, plus he holds the world record in the 4×200-meter freestyle relay)... is such a looker, we just had to post another photo of him :)

In case you missed the first picture we posted of Ryan - here's a link for your Olympic Athelete Viewing pleasure.  Since we're gushing about a member of the US Olympic Swim Team - catch a load of their video (which includes other attractive members, both male & female)!

For any male readers who have made it this far thru this post, here's some advice for you:
Being male is a matter of birth, being a man is a matter of age, but being a GENTLEMAN is a matter of choice.
That's all for now - we'll post more later in the week :)  Enjoy the Olympics everyone!

Rolling with the Punches

Do you remember this episode?  We sure do :)

While perusing the M&J facebook page, we came across pictures of Melissa's baby shower.  She's pregnant, in real life, in case any of you didn't know that.  Check out this photo:

Melissa requested that all of the beautiful gifts from her friends and family be donated to Operation Shower, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to supporting military families, who are expecting a baby.
That photo made us so proud!  Kudos to Melissa for leading by example!
I'm sure many families will be blessed by her gifts.

Since we only had one episode of Melissa & Joey to watch tonight and we were waiting for one of our members to get off work, we decided to watch the new show on ABC called Babby Daddy.  It's cute and funny at times, but sorta cheesy.  But, it does have Barbara Jean from one of our favorite shows Reba.  We do love the one girls hair though, it's super cute!  Has anyone else seen any Baby Daddy episodes?  What were your thoughts on the show?

She Could Use a Good Concussion

What a wonderful TTWT we enjoyed!  We made Lemon Poppy Seed Pancakes, but we’ll devote another post to that later J  After the delicious pancakes, we settled into our regular routine (a.k.a. Clipping Coupons & watching TV).  We watched a Melissa & Joey episode, which was quite entertaining.   Lars and Vincienzo sounded quite interesting J  Plus, Mel & Joe are still dancing around possible feelings for each other – so we continue to watch & wait.  We especially enjoyed the season finale of Fairly Legal.  I must say the writers of that show have done a wonderful job on Ben Grogan’s character.  Every one of us HATED him when he first came on the show and were so mad they made him a permanent character.  Then as you know (if you’ve been following our blog) we ended up divided as to which man Kate should be with (Justin or Ben, Justin or Ben, Justin or Ben?).  Did Ben really deserve her; he’s not exactly a great guy and doesn’t have the best track record.  But on the other hand, Justin already had his shot… But now, at long last, they have changed our minds; and we could not be happier about the possibilities they left us with this season!  What a perfect ending to a season.  Other than some shady decisions by Lauren, they didn’t really leave us hanging – just excited about what could happen next season.

Mystery Man :)

In case you missed the answer to our Mystery Man question (drum roll please...)

Crazy huh?

A Muffin Basket of Man

Our last episode of  Melissa & Joey gave us a great idea for a new post - so if you haven't already guessed it from our title - today is mostly about....men.  I doubt we'll be getting any complaints, but though we should give fair warning.
Alay Pettyfer
James Marsden
Mark Wahlberg
We don't know who this is, but we sure wish we did!

Well one of our members is out of town, but due to the limited number of days we have left together we felt it best to continue our ritual (even in her absence).  A last minute change resulted in our meeting on a Tuesday!  Crazy, we know - but it's been awhile since we met on a Tuesday.  Due to the sudden change of plans, we had no coupons to cut so we worked on graduation party thank you's for our youngest member while catching up on Common Law. They were wonderfully entertaining episodes to be sure.  Our favorite was probably the one where they have to role play as each other.  Travis should try wearing a suit more often and Wes a little less often.  They both look good, as they usually do, but the change was surprisingly delightful!  Sadly, we couldn't find a decent picture of them in "role playing mode" - so hopefully you have seen the episode.

One last picture - can you guess who this is??  Pretty handsome, wouldn't you say?

We'll do our best to tell you in our next post :)

God Bless America - Land that I Love!

HOME of the BRAVE
by Roger Robicheau
Through the feel of war they brave this day
how proud they stand, their unselfish way.
Our soldiers bear what we cannot see
they assure our right to live life free.
Each trained will face an unknown fate
our support they need, don’t hesitate.
Just imagine how this land would be
without their courage – catastrophe.
All the liberties we have grown to know
would not exist, this life would go.
Find a thankfulness to show you care
for Fallen Heroes, hold back no tear.
Reach out to God with his guiding light
for our Troops do pray, both day and night.
America raise your flags to wave
for we truly are “Home of the Brave”.

We hope you all have a safe 4th of July - and be sure to thank a veteran!

It's a great day for square chesse....

A great quote from a Fairly Legal episode: "They're gonna treat her like she blew up an orphanage field trip to an animal shelter!"
Henry Cavill
In case you like your men with more hair - here's another version ;)

I think I'm partial to him with more hair, but maybe he looks better in person - some people do you know.

Oh and another man we thought we'd showcase again - Christian Kane from Leverage
He's almost as awesome as Dylan Bruno's character Colby Granger!

Isn't he just so cute!!

And this is for some of our members who have quite the crush on a certain Country Music star ;)
