She Could Use a Good Concussion

What a wonderful TTWT we enjoyed!  We made Lemon Poppy Seed Pancakes, but we’ll devote another post to that later J  After the delicious pancakes, we settled into our regular routine (a.k.a. Clipping Coupons & watching TV).  We watched a Melissa & Joey episode, which was quite entertaining.   Lars and Vincienzo sounded quite interesting J  Plus, Mel & Joe are still dancing around possible feelings for each other – so we continue to watch & wait.  We especially enjoyed the season finale of Fairly Legal.  I must say the writers of that show have done a wonderful job on Ben Grogan’s character.  Every one of us HATED him when he first came on the show and were so mad they made him a permanent character.  Then as you know (if you’ve been following our blog) we ended up divided as to which man Kate should be with (Justin or Ben, Justin or Ben, Justin or Ben?).  Did Ben really deserve her; he’s not exactly a great guy and doesn’t have the best track record.  But on the other hand, Justin already had his shot… But now, at long last, they have changed our minds; and we could not be happier about the possibilities they left us with this season!  What a perfect ending to a season.  Other than some shady decisions by Lauren, they didn’t really leave us hanging – just excited about what could happen next season.

Cheerio!

Just because we find it so gosh-darn funny!!

It was a lazy kinda night.  Planning the vacation menu, cutting coupons, trying on a prom dress, chatting, etc.  Then of course we watched our episode of Fairly Legal.  We were uncertain as to how we all felt about that episode.  We felt bad for Ben, but at the same time - Justin was her husband and Ben used to be such a jerk.  Oh the drama.... Well only time will tell, we'll just have to see what happens next week - maybe Kate can work this all out, just like one of her mediations.  We are hoping to have a guest blogger in the near future.  One of our members received a most wonderful letter; written in a style so reminiscent of our own, that we couldn't help but adore it!  So be on the lookout and tell your friends!

Full on Major Monkey

Well it looks like blogger changed.  NOT A FAN!!  Why does everyone feel the need to change things that aren't broken?!  Facebook timeline anyone?  No thank you.  New Blogger format anyone?  No thank you.

Well I suppose that's enough whining for one post...

On a brighter note, the fabulous chicas of TTWT have answered the age old question: No, you cannot do rock moves on a ukelele!  I'm sure that has been keep some of you up at night, but you can rest easy tonight.

Also, we wanted to pass on a warning that we received tonight.  Well, maybe it's not really a warning, but maybe a life motto of sorts.  I suppose we can let you all judge for yourselves, so here it is: "Don't wake up in a road-side ditch!"  For some people those could indeed be words to live by!

For the second meeting in a row we had the pleasure of our dearest physician's company - it was wonderful.  Due to previous engagements, we were a bit behind on our Fairly Legal episodes, so we enjoyed 3 (yes, three) whole episodes!  It would seem that Ben is begining to have a soul.  Although our members are a bit divided on the issue.  We have hated Ben's guts for so long that we're not really sure what to do about him & Kate together...  On one hand Kate seems to make him be a better man (a better human being in fact), but we love Justin - we've loved him from the beginning.  We wanted him & Kate to make this work!!  Only time will tell - but he better not be using her.... And Leo, oh Leo you are still just as fabulous as ever - so clever, and that inattentional blindness trick with the clown wig was superb.

Our favorite quote from the night's episodes (we might be paraphrasing a bit): "The gods love irony - like when a tornado destroys a wind chime store!"  We're just glad he used the term irony correctly - so few people do these days....

So one final thought - why in the world can't Ben wear his hair like this in the show!!??

Oh, maybe he got run over by a car.... No sweetie he's just not that into you!

Although we were missing a member we did indeed meet for our weekly tradition.  After an episode of Fairly Legal (which we loved) we enjoyed Fired Up.  Also laughed at a commercial for the new show "Unpopable" which looked utterly ridiculous!  We are also quite in love with Paula Dean (that was of course said with a Southern Accent).  We'd just love to cook with her.  Since we have to "risk it to get the biscuit" we think we might take our road trip to Cape Horn thru Georgia just so we can cook with her.

*Punch* "That was for the Crocs.  You're not a grandma in her garden or a baby at the beach!"

"Bottomless breadsticks only keep you at the Olive Garden for so long, until at some point you look up and say 'Why am I at the Olive Garden with all these fat people?'"

And just in time for Valentines Day:  Eye Candy
